Default Confused Ricer

Saw something funny yesterday driving out of Melbourne, a Toyota Celica with big Nismo stickers on the doors. I wonder if he has any idea who Nismo do go fast bits for. Moron.

I believe it means Nissan Motorsport. Maybe he had a Nissan engine transplant? If not then Its like fools who put Ralliart crap all over there bog stock lancers. Muscle can be rice too ive mentioned in a few threads that ive seen a Mustang with a Nissan GTR badge on it aswell as Japanese stickers.

That's my understanding too. I remember seeing on another forum ages ago, someone had this for their tag line: "If NISMO is NISsan MOtorsport, what is HOnda MOtorsport?"

Anyway, what a tool, but I guess we should be glad they're not driving a Ford...

Not likely, it was one of the newer model Celicas that came out about 2-3 years ago.

Who cares??

It's his car, he's entitled to put whatever stickers he wants on it...

If you don't like it don't look at it.... simple.

Perhaps but then how many non-tickford falcons and the like getting around with the tickford badges on it? Also i've seen quite a few with massive FPV stickers etc, its an infectous disease affecting all types of car owners :

Theres a BA getting around Canberra with a Ticford badge over the location of where his XT badge used to be. Creative. Tickford badge looks far better than an XT badge. Even if they are from different models. :

I agree totally. I always have a really good laugh at Ford guys (almost always EA - AU owners, no offense) who bag the sh!t out of ricers and drive around with tickford badges, XR6 lights, loud exhausts, tinted windows, body kits and big spoilers. I personally think you should do whatever the hell you want with your own car, but I have a strong dislike of people who pretend their cars are something they aren't (SS kits on Execs, XR lights on GLis, GT kits/wheels on XR6s, bulges on XR6s, etc.).

Hahaha, reminds me of those guys who slap a Mazda Rotary sticker on the rear window of their bog stock 4 cylinders, and 9/10 of them aren't even Mazdas...

We can bag the imports but Hypo tec in traders place Vermont have a 430kw R33 GTR plus other imports that they must bring into the country. The day I was there they were dyno tuning a Nissan GTR the roar of the mtr sounded tough. So I have to admire the power they get out of of a 2.6 mtr.
But I still prefer Fords & the Yank cars.

but at least its still the same branding for a Ford unlike Nissan on a Toyota!!!!
i have fpv badges on my car cos i have fpv gear on my car. The older cars with FPV stickers on their car,,well again its the same branding and its supporting the new generation of FORD PERFORMANCE VEHICLES. their car is a ford they may believe that it is also a perfomance vehicle. but basically the NISMO/TOYOTA issue and the FPV and Tickford and FORD is nopt comparable
