It just seems weird that there hasn't been an official meaning, even Holden have
Meanings for there's S- **** SS- super ****** But I think the xr came from Europe with the cosworths and the xr range |

Forget all that rubbish /\; it means 'Extra Ripples', extra traction defining corrugations in the road surface by these XR named vehicles.

From memory the XR nameplate was to pay tribute to the first GT, the XR and its significance to Australian performance Falcons. |

it means XTREME REVOLUTION and SS means super ****, FPV means ******* performance vehicle and HSv means HORRIBLY slow vehicle well that's my opinion
