Default i want rear reflectors.

ok recently we purchased clear tail lights for the wife's 2000 beetle...yeah, yeah i know!... anyway, the original lights had built-in reflectors, but the new ones don't. what they do have is ****ty looking rectangular ones you are supposed to screw into the rear bumper...which just isn't gunna happen. what we want is some different ones...she would prefer...wait for it...love heart shaped ones, if possible. i would prefer a simple round design to compliment the tail lights...the problem is, where can you buy them??? we've tried super cheap and autobarn but no luck. any suggestions or help would be much appreciated. thanks

What you want is that industrial reflective tape, cut into any shape you like, and place where ever you want.

My brother used to work on Police cars here in NZ and we had a bit of that film lying around, its thick as and ultra adhesive, very durable (afterall they did plaster them all over police cars, thus making them stick out like a dogs balls at night) - Id reconmend you cut the shapes to compliment the new taillights, and stick on top, or even inside the new tailingts - That'll make it clean and look factory (or as factory as possible on rice lights :P)

I'd try cycling supply shops or sign writters to find this tape i speak of. Or just rip a bit off a fire truck lol

Best going to a aftermarket truck part supplier, like Truckline in brisbane. They have alot of different reflectors for trucks, i think there are some round ones made by Narva that would suit your requirements.

Theres a few of these types of companies around Rocklea if your looking for em as trucks require reflectors by law, where as cars dont need anything more then what they come from factory with.
