Hi All,
Audi have launched the new S3 Quattro today. It's corporate like styling'll mean it's a bit of a sleeper but @ USD$44,000 it's on the pricey side, particularly if it makes it to AU. Cheers, Miyagi |

It's such a gorgeous shape. It'd be good if it were priced just above the XR5T.

Try more than double the price of an XR5T

It is also way out of the XR5's league. The old S3 (1.8T, 165kW) was as fast as (if not faster) then the XR5, but the hot-Focus of its day here was the ST170 (127kW) or Europe's 2.0 Turbo RS (149kW). No contest.
I always liked the old S3, the new one is also very nice. Now... if they made an RS3... oh boy...

Very nice looking piece of machinery. Wouldn't mind one of them, oh well, I'll keep dreaming.

Absolutely love what they've done with the A3 and the S3. The RS3 will be ballistic..
The heart says to go for a V8 but the head says to go with an A3 sportsback or A4T. |
