no wonder i had a vibration!!!
lucky this was on the pressure plate side, so flywheel all good I got an exploded diagram from ford of the clutch area before i pulled it appart. Shows a one piece flywheel but once apart its a dual mass! very glad it was ok cause it would have ment a new one if it was damaged.

Was the flywheel side still intact??? Must be a result of dropping the clutch pedal, the shock would have broken apart the organic facing where the pressure plate met each time, and eventually the facing just gave out...

About 10 months ago I tried! to take off from a set of lights and was in third!!! not first like you should. I did a good job cause after pulling it out of gear while still rolling along the clutch pedal just went to the floor (stuck it together).
I put a bit of force on the gear stick and it finally went into gear (while still rolling along) and clutch pedal came back. It then shuddered when initially taking off but after that all other gear changes ok. so thought I had just glazed the clutch. a few months later i flushed the clutch fluid, It was black! But no real vibration till about a week ago and getting hard to change gears. Took me about 4 hours and $650 to do the clutch, did the axel seals also. Later that day the wife took the car, took off from a set of lights and as the clutch is lighter now dropped it and lit the tyres up. So yeah too many burn outs!!!! lol
