I know this has been posted in in the Streetcomomdores forum (the person who supplied the photos) and also the AMC forum as well as Dave au who has posted them in the other 380 thread, but I think they deserve their own thread as some people who have already viewed the 380 thread would not view it again and see them. So what do you think?

It looks pretty good!
I'd be very interested in its on-road performance. Not that I want to buy one. From looks alone, it is a vast improvement on the outgoing Magna (ie, it is actually an attractive car!), and I hope the 380 has good sales here. Forgive my ignorance but are any of these coming out in AWD? I could picture one with the torque splitter set/modified for 100% rear bias :Reverend: -Dave- |

Yeah there is the VRX and also a GT version. I am not sure what the difference is, but both have the body kit and bigger wheels. I think thats the VRX model.
Clever idea having tail-light spoilers also |

Not too bad, I think they will sell quite a few and reach a bigger audience
The only bad thing I can say from those pics is that it suffers from the "****y wheel/large wheelarch" syndrome like the hilux |

Very safe design.. The rear reminds me of the XR range rear bumper.
If that's the hot version then they need to do better. Wheels are way too small & the bodykit or lack there of needs a fraction more work.. Overall it's not too bad a design though..

Love it at first glance it looks good and the interier looks the part. Dont like the rear window though for a five seat family car.

Well the 380 seems well received amongst the Ford community, but I'm still not
convinced. I like the finish on the back end, but the high boot line may make reversing a bit of a chore. Like the dash, but not so much the steering wheel, maybe that might grow on me, but its just a little odd... arty for the sake of being different rather than better... HVAC is difficult to see, but looks a bit behind the current standard. I will upgrade my "like the dash" comment, the instrument display looks downright pretty! There is a lot there that reminds me of the falcon, I'd almost feel at home in side that pit - perhaps it is the falcon buyer they are targeting?? As for panel fit - it is hard from the photos, but it appears there is absolutely no seam between the c-pillar and the 3/4 panel?!? Expensive - I'd hate to get a rear ender if the panel continues to the roof! But it does add to the look if it does. Question though - why go to the expensive moulds required for something like that, then lose the icon - pillarless doors??? Shame you just can't make out the fuel consumption figures! SL |

Wow I think its looks great..no big ricey bodykits..although I have a soft spot for lip spoilers.
Ill still wait for final judgement intil I see it in the flesh..I like the rear and the waistline hight though!

Nup it it does not excite me at all.
I hate that steering wheel. No RWD or AWD no turbo or anything or a hefty V8 (ok fuel prices no wonder) Sorry its beige to me. |

Looks nice but I could do with more rounded wheel arch flares. Interesting rear.
I lowered it in Photoshop and it looks good.

It looks like a big Lancer from the front. I'm not fond of the rear styling as it makes the rear head room look cramped. I hope they do well though, healthy competition for the big-med car segment can't hurt anyone.

I think it looks great. Love the new rear end. I think the wheel size looks fine. If it had been a RWD car id be a little interested in it. FWD though.... you won't see me in one.

is it going to be called MAGNA still? i heard it might be called GALANT?
i reckon if mitsubishi and toyota came out with a rear drive magna and camry they would out sell ford and holden on their build quality alone. take a early 90s cressida for a spin and then a EA and VN and you will agree with me. |
