Sorry if this has been covered before, I did a search but couldn't find it mentioned.
My 2001 AU Forte sedan suffers from the headlining drooping where it meets the front and back windscreens, literally 4 inches is hanging down. Has anyone had this problem and fixed it or had it fixed? It looks like glueing it up might help but the material is very thin so I'm wondering what type of glue to use? Thanks for any advice  Stewart Canberra |

Yes it has been done but not easy to redo the whole lining. Have another look.
I just used some drawing pins as mine had not gone to far. So far so good. UK

I used spray on contact cement. worked a treat. just spray on the sagged bit and the lining, wait a bit. press it on and your set

about $150-$170 you can have it professionally replaced and done in a couple of hours whilst one sits back sipping on a cool millers and lime!

Hmm, the 2 upholsterers I've contacted in Canberra so far are quoting $340, think I'll be relaxing with a glass of water....

stewburt, keep on looking. try mobile guys too. if you're paying more than $190 for new rooflining in a sedan, you're getting had.

In my NF I just got spray glue, put a little slit in at the edge of the saggy bit and sprayed up inside all around through the hole. Gave it a couple of minutes then pressed it all back into place making sire to line up the lining where I put the slit. The only way it could be seen was if you new it was there. Just be sure you don't stretch the lining when you do it or you'll end up with a wrinkle somewhere.

I saw an add on Gumtree for someone charging $100 (Gold Coast region). Not sure how high quality it will be, but I will be looking into it in the next few weeks (after I get this damn oil leak fixed)
