Default Strange creature washed on on beach

Did you guys and girls see this?
Do turtles have tails?
Some people reckon it's an alien (haha)
I reckon it's a turtle without a shell.

We're a bit slow here...this was on the net 2 days ago.

I'll wait for the scientists to give me an answer.

I am not sure if I'd like it on a spit roast with my chips and gravy.

I'll stick to my lamb gyros :P

I look at that creature and think that it is Al Gore's fault. If he didn't harp on about climate change it wouldn't drive this creature to commit suicide.

Been debated on a number of other threads already.
Best explanation I've seen so far is a drowned dog with part of it's facial features eaten off.

Another view:

That view isn't of the same creature. For a number of reasons I don't think so.

1) The proportions dont look the same. That pic also makes the 'dog' look fatter.
2) The original pic has more of a beak'ish pointy face.
3) If the animal had been flipped over for the second pic, im pretty sure it would be COVERED in sand as it would have been wet and or sticky from being dead like that. If it had gone stiff and dry, when it was turned over gravity would not have moved with the animal, but you can see the stomach on it has slumped to fit its new position.
4) The discolouration looks different, the first one seems skinner. It also looks like a render.

Either way I dont think its the same pic.

If that's a fly on its shoulder in the first pic, then you do.

Perhaps, as has been suggested elsewhere, its someone who has got creative with Latex...

I dunno about you, but if I found something like that I would be calling the Police to come check it out, and not let some guy take it back to his house to throw into the bush.

Dog skull for comparison. If it were a dog it must have one short bent over muzzle with the weirdest dog body I've ever seen. Either way, Im calling bullsh^t on the whole thing.

It's a dogbirdmonkeyfish!

If I can't grill it, fry it, bake it or kebab it, I don't really care what it is.
Unless it can bring me a beer and shut up at the same time.

I think Falcon_Phill is very close. The teeth along the lower jaw seem to be almost spot on.

A turtle without it's shell would look like a bloody mess of flesh, the shell and body are one and the same, they are fused together.

This has been floating for a while. You can see how the under side is almost bleached white, and the top is sunburt from exposure....
