Default AU XR8 engine surging and missing

I have a series 3 AU XR8 and the engine is surging and missing badly. I believe the two issues are unrelated but may be wrong. I live in the Wantirna South (Knox) area in Melbourne. Can anyone recommend a reliable company in my area to take the car to for diagnoses and repair. Thx.

I should have added that my mechanic just replaced the oxy sensors. In his report he states "Old fault code in computer- igniition coil"
