Shed full of vintage cars goes up in flames at Stapylton

by: Yolande Schefe From: The Courier-Mail November 25, 2011 6:08PM

A SHED full of vintage cars has been destroyed by fire at Stapylton, near Beenleigh, this afternoon.

The fire broke out about 4.39pm in a shed on Quinn Hill Road East, with flames engulfing the shed.

Inside were a number of vintage cars, all of which are believed to have been lost.

No one was hurt.

why is it suss - do some people have access to emergency service info

if this was a speeding/hooning thread, we would be hearing - what happened to innocent until proven guilty - i guess that line being important is only dependant on who is being accused

Yeah I see no evidence that it's arson. Just because he owns cars of value doesn't mean accidents can't happen. I'm sure those cars are worth more to the owner than the money that replaced them.

To right.
Some time back a GT HO and another valuable car were destroyed in a shed fire in Qld. This happened at the height of the HO price spike and the owner never got anything like the silly prices they were selling for at the time.

didn't mean for it to sound like i was accusing anyone of insurance fraud, just pointing out that he probably wont be leaving empty handed, I like to find the silver lining.

sorry for the misunderstanding though,

If the owner loved his cars he would be absolutely distraught, no money would compensate for the loss, which most likely could not be replaced.
