A mate here in Victoria is keen to buy a new LX Mondeo hatchback . He has been quoted $32,990 driveaway on the phone. Is there much scope to score a better price than this?

Well thats the RRP for a new MB Mondeo LX without onroads so you are essentially getting the onroads for free. Not too bad but you could push for free tinting and mats.
Depends on the supply and if the car is in the yard you may get better.

THanks RicOz. I thought it might be a fair price as I vaguely recall an earlier promotion where the MA LX was $29990 plus ORC. Will see if we can squeeze a little more in freebies and slightly shave the price.
