Still...how many SUV's have Ford AU sold compared to holden...add that onto the fact that the Territory is practicaly made entirely of Falcon Parts...All up, we have Way better numbers than Holden.

Dont think the industry is going to set a record in new car sales this year if the trend continues.

Adventra's are far from a piece of ****, thats just being way biased.
They are actually a damn nice chunk of metal to drive, with rear whee biased AWD which akes em feel nice on the road, a VERY nice cabin in the LX6 and a great looking car. Before anyone jumps in and says the sales figures don't read this. The Adventra and Territory are in two totally different market's one is just a jacked up wagon and the other is a full on SUV. I would love to see the Adventra continue on after the captive comes in as they are different aplications, but I can't see this happening. V8 model has ben dropped now so the V6's are holding a lot more ground. Stoney! |

I remember about 5 years ago and how Holden was being touted as the GM crown jewels and to a certain extent they are. But the other interesting thing was that they also said they had a plan for continued market leadership and would build it up to 25%...
Going on these figures, they might make 16%. Compared to this time last year, Holden were only 3000 units short of Toyota, now 20000 units.

It won't. That is where the imported Daewoo Craptiva model will take over from the local VZ based AWD models.
