Yeah but Chev has bridged the gap big time compared tp 12 months ago haven't they ? The gap has closed by 28,000 units for the month in that time.

That's a lot of volume & profit lost for Ford.

They sell more F-Series trucks in a month than our entire monthly market.

Looks as if Ford and GM are relying heavily on thier pickups for survival. Also noticed that there're no European brands in the top 20.

All 20 locally built too I think (in either US parent or Japanese transplant plants).

How many of our top 20 are locally built ??

Their industry would be heavily protected i assume?

Camrys are built in many countries incl. Aust, Japan, China, Thailand, Taiwan, US, etc.

Ours go to us and Mid East only if I'm not mistaken.

I think he meant 'us' as in Australia, not the United States

Big Camry markets have thier own factories i.e US and China. Thailand supplies SE Asia AFAIK. We rely on our own demand and that of the Mid East, so if either market slows, then our factory is in trouble......Chinese Camry anyone???

No. They have some of the biggest Toyota plants in the world pumpin out Camry's.

63,000 per month ? Altona does that per year Lol.

Altona exports to the Gulf states.
