Heres a heads up for my ORSM Buddies

If you have not been to IMAX then your missing out

This is just a heads up so you dont go see it at the small screen as you can join as and see it on the IMAX Screen 32 meter x 23 meter screen (the World's 3rd Largest Screen).

COMING SOON: 25/06/2009 to IMAX

In Transformers 2, the battle for Earth has ended but the battle for the universe has just begun. After returning to Cybertron, Starscream assumes command of the Decepticons, and has decided to return to Earth with force. The Autobots believing that peace was possible finds out that Megatron's dead body has been stolen from the US Military by Skorpinox and revives him using his own spark. Now Megatron is back seeking revenge and with Starscream and more Decepticon reinforcements on the way, the Autobots with reinforcements of their own, may have more to deal with then meets the eye.

Additional Information:

Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen - The IMAX Experience will feature six sequences filmed with IMAX® cameras. This marks the second time ever (after The Dark Knight) that a major feature film has been partially shot using IMAX cameras. This stunning integration of the two film formats will translate into full screen images in film based IMAX theatres. At IMAX Melbourne Museum it will translate into Transformers 2 images that will fill the 32 meter x 23 meter screen (the World's 3rd Largest Screen).

In an interview with MTV, director Michael Bay spills more info on the IMAX version of Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen – The IMAX Experience:

“You will see Devastator in IMAX,” Bay said of the massive Decepticon, glimpsed in the trailer and formed when several Decepticons come together. “You heard it here first.”
“[Several scenes] are going to be on IMAX, which is awesome,” Bay explained. “Some of our main scenes were shot with IMAX cameras, so the screen will pop wide [if you see the film in an IMAX theater]. It’s the first movie to do serious digital effects in IMAX quality.”

Looking at my roster, I'm working weekends all July, so mid of the week would suit me better. But, see what night suits other people, I can always pull another sickie...

Looking at your avatar, is there something you wanna tell us? Service lady finally got you, did she? :

Just found out from IMAX that we cant get discounted tickets if we do weekends (Sat and Sun) as those days/nights are prime time and they have no trouble filling seats.

So full price Weekends or Discounted Price Weeknights

As all the ORSM guys are loaded I doubt this matters much

Oh well if discounted weekends are out then i'm good for a weeknight. But since I finish work in BH at 5:30 then would probably have to be a 7:30 session or later for me.
