hi folks
I've just purchased a 98 HC Mondeo and strike me dead, i cannot find the oil filter. Has anyone able to let me know where it hides on the engine. thanks Andrew |

Its tucked up behind and under the engine quite nicely ...... if you look roughly to the rear (and up) of the engine on the drivers side you should find it. I had to take the great layer of plastic off the bottom of the engine bay (a feat in itself) to locate it. Its in a similar position to my galant's oil filter location.

thanks Simon
I found that by removing the front right hand tyre and undoing two screws that hold in a small section of the wheel well shroud, that i can gain easy access to the oil filter through the wheel well. Andrew |
