How would I tell if a car has ABS. The car in question is a 93 EBII GLi sedan. I ask as there seems to be wiring to the brakes for some reason...
Cheers Bruce

go to 70 km/h and slam the brake on as hard as you can in a straight line .. if it just locks up and leaves a huge smoke pile behind you, you dont have abs , and unfortunately u may of just flatspotted your tires.. u will have abs if it pulses:P

Ok, my ED Gli with ABS has a sticker under the Falcon Gli badge on the boot. A sure way to check is to look under the dash around the pedal box/steering column, there should be an ABS module there if you have ABS. It's pretty well marked, you'll see it if it's there, near the main loom...

Thanks all
I'll check further tomorrow. The car is a "parts bin" so I will check around and see what I see... Cheers Bruce
