Default Picture attachment question

Hi guys/ gals (?)

Question about pictures.

Posted a picture in a thread but silly me forgot to blot out the rego number.
I cant edit the post as there appears to be a very short window to do so before the "edit" button dissappears!

I deleted the picture from my photobucket album thinking the picture would dissappear from the post, but it hasnt?!!

I uploaded a modified picture with the rego blotted out, but the orginal picture is still showing..

Does the forum hold these pictures in some sort of cache??? I though that pictures which are linked externally remain external ???

might seem silly, but are you sure you deleted the right picture? you don't have it in there twice or something? and it is definitely the right photobucket account you are using? i'm not saying you don't know what you are doing, but as soon as you delete the image it should disappear as there is no longer an image for the link to direct to...
