Default 20 inch wheels fit on BA?

There are some 20 inch chrome wheels listed on ebay that are on a BA XR6 for sale. They look like they will go cheap. Will they fit on a BA without scrubbing etc? I have standard suspension on a XR6. How big tyres can you fit on them before they scrape? They look really good.

ebay, search 20 inch wheels Xr6

20's will fit EASY with standard ride height.
A friend of mine has 22 inch wheels under his BA, they fit... so i dont think you will have any dramas.

I have 20x8.5in wheels on my XR6T.

They fit without spacers, BUT, you need to run 225/35 rubber on the front otherwise the tyre scrubbs on the top suspension knuckle. I've seen one BA running 20's with 235/30 front rubber, but this had more to do with the specific sidewall profile of the tyre brand he was running allowing it.

On the back you can fit up to 20x9.5in with the right offsets (again, i know of one XR6T running 20x10in, but these wheels were custom made in Japan to the perfect offset).

I run 255/35 rubber on the rear on my 8.5in wide wheels, but you can go to 265 with no real problems...

I've got 20s on my BF XR8. They fit easy. I've got 10inch rims on the back. I had to have the guards rolled and they only have 255 rubber on them which looks terrible on a 10 inch rim. If I was to go again I would have 8.5 inch rims all round with 245 rubber as came on the 18s from the factory.

On a side not. Does anyone have any pics of the BAs with 22s? I would LOVE to see that. Would've done it myself but I didnt think they would fit.

Oh yeh. Mine has stock suspension ie standard ride height.

they only run 22s on the REAR as its got lotsa space
but id say lowering comes at a minimum

would be NO good for performance at all.. as they would be much larger overall diameter hence a higher diff ratio by way of tyres etc..

id say camber kit would help
but you should have a camber kit if you have your car lowered at all anyway..

well new they are about 3-3500 so yeah 2k is probably fair considering 2 tyres will set you back roughly $600 for nankangs or less for crapper brands

for 3000?? almost anything
all the XHP range (alot of dub replicas) (thats with tyres)
i know DUB and d'vinci rims are over 4k for wheels and tyres

just make sure you dont get anything cheaper than a nankang tyre and get 245/30R20 rubber as it fits fine on BAs with 20s.. and its the correct size for the tyre and correct load rating

nankang rubber is alot safer in the wet than the cheaper linglong and fullrun and wanli brands.. and has less bad name for splitting sidewalls etc

just ring your local wheel shop
or pop onto big o tyres website or tempe tyres website

How do the cars drive and feel with wheels so big tho?
Drivability is my main concern before taking the pulnge on huge rims.

feels fine mate
on the front of mine with the undersized tyres(i think its fine once your on 245s as you have some sidewall to flex LOL) my front end is real jittery and a bit jarry on bumps but on the open road shes fine

the REAR of mine has 245/35R20 rubber and its smooth as (nowhere near as bad as the front)
