Debadge it completely. go for the smooth understated look, with all chrome, badges and excessive trim removed!

Good idea, got any pics, one of us could photochop the badges off so you could see how it looks.

Like this (forgive the rush job):

My Dad broke my bootlid lock, so we rigged up not only an electric boot release, but also a safety cord near the backseat in case it failed.
That XD was a great car. Still is.
Sadly I know my father is writing the advert to sell it soon. :(
Neither of us want to see it go.

2 reasons to take them off.

a) it looks smoother
b) little kids will not wreck paint to get badge.

Yeah I was worried too. But I had a central locking system put on about 9 years ago and haven't had any problems so far. Gotta keep the battery in good nick though. The locking system was recommended to me by GIO as it kept getting stolen by punching the locks on the door in.

Mine will soon only have the Ford badge on it, and if somebody rips it off, I won't bother replacing it, will just repaint the entire bootlid. But personally, I think it looks good with just the Ford badge - I'm sure everyone knows it's a Falcon, and I don't want the GL badge - it's already gone anyway - all the GL badge does is tell the world it's the base model Falcon, without it, it keeps them guessing

horses for courses. an original ESP i would keep the badges, but a falcon GL that you are modding i'd go for the smooth look with the Ford badge in the grille left on. just to break up the black a bit.

Get rid of all that fussy crap. Blackwood Falcons have near perfect proportions & look best clean of distractions
