Default Snapped cable

Hey guys, unfortunately I have snapped a cable. I’m unsure of what it is though which makes it difficult to fix lol. It sits on the intake just below the accelerator cable.the bottom of the cable is connected to a lever which opens the intake when pulled. Anyone know what this is? And how to fix?
Cheers

Sounds like the cruise control cable. If you ask GTlegend in this thread he will advise of availability and price. Likely you'll have to go aftermarket though. This mob can make one for you if needs be: https://www.retrospares.com.au/

Bloody legend! Car should run without it for now right? Need to get to work. After market is fine, I’ll have a look into it. Thanks for the quick replies as always mate!

Yes; it will work fine without cruise control.
