I have lent over steering column and it's pushed itself in at bottom where it bolts to the coupling.. now I can't get it out. Any ideas?. I'm assuming it collapses in on it self if you where involved in a crash. Not sure how they come apart buy I assume it needs to so it can be reset. Cheers the colour was out of the car when this happened to

The bottom part of the column is collapsible. Put it between you feet and lift the column up, it should pull out.

It's a bit tight, I will try an anchor it down somewhere and try pull it that way. Cheers.chris
