Has anyone tried it ?
The regular Motorcraft plug for the Barra 182 engine is a platinum and has a 1.4mm gap. The Turbo and LPG engines use a different heat range plug with a gap of 1.1mm. I know this has been discussed before but if anyone has tried it, what were the results like ? Better or worse ? |

Sorry Frank

They are generally colder and closer gap due to combustion pressure of turbo engine... Imo no gain... Unless there was issues with old plugs....

I had colder plugs (NGK double platinum turbo plugs) fitted to mine for a while when i thought the ign system wa a touch weak for the twin throttle setup and definately went backwards.
Running stock spec brand new ngk's now much better.
