Story in todays paper here in Perth.
Police on the side of the freeway got their car sprayed with oil and carp as some tool goes flogging past in his WRX. They clocked him at 156kays in the 100zone before he finally pulled over after chasing him for a bit with smoke and flames coming from the car. When he stopped they realised his engine was on fire, used their extinguisher to put it out. Then they locked him up for dangerous and drink driving. Honestly, the mentality of some people, maybe he figured if he went fast enough it might blow itself out.

I don't know about you guys but if someone threw carps at my car I would be thankful for a free lunch/dinner (depending on what time it was, of course.)
I just hope there are pictures of this incident. Cops panicking and extinguishing the fire, the look on the idiots face as it dawns on him just how forked he is. |

3 years ago we did were on our way home from the Central Coast when we came up along side an old Ferrari. Think like a 70's model. Anyway, out the back, the exhaust was glowing red hot, sparks and smoke. We pulled along side it and told them about it, but they never really seemed all that interested and kept going. Maybe they thought we were going to hijack their car. Anyway after trying to get them to stop we left them. Once we were ahead of them, they pulled over. Not sure what happened after that.
