Hi Guys,
Was wondering if we could start a list of members in the upper hunter/hunter valley and surounding areas as far as central coast. This way i can see weather it is worth trying to organise a unofficial meet, cruise or lunch....so if your from muswellbrook, to cessnock, to gosford...put your name down.... Im from Maitland Thanks and hope to get heaps of response...

Budgewoi here, wife & three kids 8f, 5m, 1m yo. We often picnic/visit all over the Hunter Valley. Love it, Kath rarely drinks and is a good driver so the Wineries, for the shade of course, are one of my favorite destinations. She likes many of the more scenic, less used roads and quiet picnic spots/parks where the kids can stretch their legs etc. We'll be interested in meeting other forum members for sure.

Lets get a date together & head out somewhere for a run...
One proposed route would be a 'lake' run. Can meet up at say Morriset markets (handy for to the F3) take a cruise in thru Toronto, up to Boolaroo, turn off & make way via Warners bay to Belmont then head back down the coast road back towards the Central Coast. Return to Morriset would be via Rutleys Rd & back up Wyee Rd to Morriset. There are a few locations alround there where food / drink can be picked up along the way. Boolaroo / Warners Bay would make an ideal midpoint stop, with a few large waterfront parks scattered around the area. |

From the sounds of things most are from up Cessnock / Maitland way???
Whats say we arrange to meet up @ Freemans, head back up towards Cessnock, taking the backway up thru Quorrabalong, heading up to the vineyards somewhere for a feed, then head up to Branxton & on down past Maitland heading back towards Newcastle? Unless someone from up that way would have a better route? |

Sounds the goods there wulos, might have to wait a while until the heavy rains of late go as the good old Cessnock City Council are very slow when it comes to road maintenance, especially after heavy rain like we are experiencing here now. I'll put my hand up.
