Is Skynet a virus or a computer mainframe? Shouldn't the space-time continuum rooted as a result?

They will need to use CGI on arni just to make him look like he did in the 80's.

Well thats what they did in Salvation even though it wasnt Arnolds body either.

What might happen is he plays the human character that the machine was based off. That way the age thing wont matter.

Haha, if only it were twice my age.

I don't know if I'll bother watching this one - Rocky 5 or 6 was a bit OTT, I don't know if this one will be much different to be honest...

Good to see he's still at it though...

Arnie is also doing a comic by Stan Lee called the Governator or something. He is basically a super hero after he left office in California.Trailor

The first 2 movies are amongst the best ever to grace the silver screen. However the 3rd was pretty crap and i think a lot of that was to do with the lack of James Cameron and a ropey story line. The latest was Ok and a bit better but for me not really part of the franchise. The whole lot reminds me of the Batman movies. The Tim Burton/Keaton movies were awesome then there was some crap but the latest ones are good again.

when he get out of the chaiir he has a walking frame, it to has machineguns on it.

arnie has special reading glasses and forgets the other characters names. and sometimes forgets whos the good guy and whos the bad guy.
so occasially arnie pops off a couple of goodguys, oop,s

T1 and 2 were great movies (T1 the best by far), T1 wins over T2 because I hated the annoying kid (Furlong)..
T3 was allright, not a bad movie.
T Salvation didnt work for me, I liked the concept (post bombs gone off) and the seeing the original Arnie versions being made on the assembly line.
But the movie was an EPIC casting FAIL, none of the cast won me over, they just all seemed like the wrong choices for those parts.
I didnt like the half man/machine concept either..

The TV series was good though. It was a shame they canned that just as It was getting real interesting.
The casting in the TV show worked well, and Id like to see more of these people/story arcs in either a movie or more TV eps..

They also need more of a thriller feel, more violence than T3 and T:S, and less CGI reliance, and less reliance of big explosions and action.

T1 and T2 had the perfect balance, and were also relentlessly frighteneing and edge of seat.. T3 and T:S are just a simple action fest with little in the way of a good coherent story, and T3 in particular was like a comedy.... Embarrassing, to say the least.

Jim Cameron is a great director, I like all his movies, particularly True Lies and even (and yep, I have the balls to admit this) Titanic. JC's attention to the little things is what makes him stand out as a director. His movies are wonderful.

In my opinion when Jim said "thats a wrap" after T2, then the franchise should have been laid to rest.

Terminator 5 - Retirement Day. New catch cry isn't "I'll be back"...It's "Owwww my back!"

Having to sit through Rocky when Sylvester Stallone did it, I can't see how Arnie will look good this time around. I also didn't think that Androids/robots could age??

Ha ha hahahahahaha.

If the writers were smart, they would have developed a new character (ie T900) during T3 and more so in TS and have that Terminator in T5. IMHO Arnie struggled in T3 and that was in 2003, now 8 years on and 27 years after T1, Arnie at 64 doesn't fit the role of a cyborg from the future.
