Guys maybe its just me but i realy hate the way the colour screen in my Territoy Ghia gets a black background when i turn the lights on. The daytime colour of grey would be fine at night. My Question is can this function be removed or turned off?

just press and hold the volume button till u hear a beep. that function will let u see the display only when u touch the functions on the icc or the steering wheel, comes on then turns off after a seconds. To reactivate do the similar procedure. Cheers fadi

I understand what you mean about brightness at night. But in the daytime with lights on the nav screen isn't very easy to read, so it would be good to have the choice to override the night screen. Might have to find the right wire and put a switch in if there is no factory override. thanks BA_Ghia |

safety? during the day? if they cant see a territory driving next to them or the other direction during the day, then i think they will have serious issues noticing wether the headlights are on.

Ahuh.
Getting back on track aside from the fact that some of us do drive with out lights on for safety or to meet fleet company guidelines, you can get a kit fitted from ford where the lights are on all the time when the motor is running, and at nite you just switch them to on to illuminate the dash and make the screen go black. So if you want your headlights on and the screen to stay grey during the day, then get the daytime light option fitted problem solved.
