Well, the season grand final is on over here in Perth tomorrow. If anyone from the forum is planning on heading down to Kwinana, be sure to stop by my pit and say hello. It might be the last time I drive the silver barge down the 1/4 mile, as I plan on putting it up for sale after this weekend.

Hey Todd, was that an unusual mph for you on the second elim? Or did you find some more hp somewhere? Nearly a pb again as well. well done. I had to settle for a pb 9.10@148.50 mph.

Yeah a 137.19mph for Todd. Gees that's moving for the ol' barge!

I can't quite work out where that extra 60hp came, but if it keeps doing it, that's okay by me.
I was meant to be knocked out in the sceond round, as the engine kept throwing fan belts all day and it chewed through my last one on that run. Still, it would have been nice to keep going, I reckon I could have given my PB a nudge as the air got cooler. That's not a bad effort Mike, how far did you make it? I packed up and headed home as I had to fly out for work early Sunday morning. |
