Default Shops for those with big socks

Gday,

I'm clutching at straws here, but it's last resort.

I've been searching for a new pair of casual Nike trainers for the last 3 weeks all over the Central Coast, Hornsby, and at work in the City. Like 20 different places at least. Plus online stores.

I've seen every style under the sun this month, but most styles max out at 13 except for massive basketball shoes, most don't even stock that size.

Well I'm a 14/15, and I have nothing. Even the Nike online store doesn't offer the styles I want big enough. Anyone here have a shop (real or online) they know of that stock big sizes?

Cheers,

I bought my adidas from UK ebay as I couldn't find my size (13) in anything I wanted or was reasonably priced.
I will be buying all my trainers form UK ebay in the future. (that's UK ebay I linked for you)

Have a look at New Balance. They go to bloody enormous and 6E extra extra wide in most mens styles. Best value for money shoe out there in the casual cross trainer style is the NB MX624s' . I wear in mine all day every day and weigh north of 130kg and a pair can last me 12 months at a time or more. You won't do better for $120. If you only wear them periodically they'll last for years.

hey mate try www.eastbay.com
Its a US site but if you get it at the right time can get free shipping or 20-30% off.
Have bought fair bit from there and no problems at all.

New Balance do have larger sizes. It is hard to find shoes in bigger sizes (Jack wears a size 15, and my boys are Size 15 and still growing!)

I was really surprised when I found some shoes (up to a 16) in a Rivers store. Not sure if you have them in NSW but they do carry bigger sizes.

If you do find a great site, please share

Cheers
Col

Rivers...meh... They might have the sizes but they are a cheap shoe with limited style choices. I tried a couple of pairs of rivers shoes and they were thrashed and dead after 3 months.

Hey Louise, here's a big shoe site that might be what you're looking for. It's in the US but the prices seem ok.

You can also try SIMS SPORTS in Melbourne. Friend is size 15. Going back a couple of years though. He said only a small amount of the shoes they offer came in 15.
