Do we know who the lucky ACT'er is that will host this do, or are we going to a pub/club to stuff our faces : and watch the V8's.

We need to get organised soon as it is the start of the ski season.

Remember to watch out for 'speeding skiiers' as the signs say (police now targeting)

Thanks Nudge...a pub will do fine. As long as they have plenty of tucker to subdue our rumbling tummies

How goes it you Newy guys? Looks like the meeting place at Nowra is the Postman Hotel for lunch on Saturday. I suggest we leave Nowra at 0830 Sunday morning to allow for any hiccups arriving ACT approx 1100-1130 driving past Shorty's place to pick up Zhennie then go to the Stato to watch the race and have a feed. From there we go to the Thai restuarant in Deakin where they will not only feed us but entertain us with traditional Thai dancing, and for the Elvis would be's they also have karioke!

Hey Danno...
No luck yet as I just phoned Darren, the owner, and there are still no spare rooms, but you are on the list.

Hey Rob,

Any idea what time you'll be coming through Wollongong on Saturday? By my calculations you should be here at about 10am?

Newy to Wollongong takes almost exactly 3 hours, so we'll expect you at about 10 :eclipsee_

What a great weekend!
Thanks to all who helped organise a fantastic trip - as usual there was great food, the odd refreshing drink and the company of good friends. Even the dark side supporter who owned the Nowra motel was impressed by the turnout! A great effort from Shorty and Danno to make the trip from Canberra to Nowra, and what an awesome drive up the Kangaroo Valley.
Although the race results weren't great, the Thai dinner on Sunday was great (well done Shorty and Zhennie). Some members even did a bit of singing! :hihi:
Already locking in next year :baby bott : : : :disco:

Another great weekend with our mates from the ACT....and Woolongong Fun at Nowra, especially with a 'Holden' loving host Darren at the motel, then a cruisy trip thru Kangaroo Valley to good 'ol ACT.

Nice of Matt and his mum Lynn to make the trip with us to the capital as well. A new recruit for the ACTer's :monkes: A full belly while watching the big race at a local haunt and then topped off with Thai on Sunday night with Karaoke tossed in. Vic was a brave man to be first up AND do a solo followed by an assortment of talents : . Even hoops, Shorty, Danno and Glenn got up for their own rendition of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' which Alan couldn't resist getting in on the act... :

The winner on the night for his 'talent' was Richard, Fastxr, who could hardly be kept from the microphone. Plus he won a lucky seat prize.....
