yes after six months of painfull waiting, and getting lifts from my parents everywhere im going for my P's tomorro!
i will finally be able to take my old girl out (which hasnt been driven very lately thank u very much) and just drive, im going to drive to the next town from ours and catch up with some mates and just enjoy my new freedom. i know what your all thinking 'oh no here we go another P plater with a v8 gonna kill himself and do burnouts everywhere', well ive already been asked by people do go out and do stupid stuff but i just dont think its a good idea. id rather keep my car in good nick and in good running order, not like some people i know, and seeing as ive got 9.5's on the back doing burnouts would be very costly anyway so theres another good reason not to. anyway i just cant wait hey, i will be able to go campin with me mates and not bring a tent (good ol pano), i will be able to go to partys and not worry about a swag (good ol pano) and another reason to not drive ****y. anyway im just rapped im gonna take a bit of time off work just to drive, and say the test took longer than expected. because ive been waiting for so long that the last 3 months have felt like a whole year hey!

Shouldn't you of been driving them!? lol. Good luck mate, licence tests are VERY easy if you've got your head screwed on, I got 100% on my manual P's.. Just don't be nervous etc. Good choice with the pano too! I've got an XF with LTD front/trim, T5 and work to come in the 250, and it's awesome to go camping and parties etc. Only people is, bastards bang on the thing when they know your trying to sleep in it!! Oh, and PS. Good choice on the keeping the car in good nick. I gave mine a good thrashing when I first got my licence at a mates private property for a while... now it's costing me well over a grand! lol. Keep it clean, and if you feel the need, take it to a strip or track =) |

Congrats Dude. I remember my old XC PV was part of the reason that I never got done for drink driving. I would go to parties, drink what I liked and then slept in the ol PV. Bit of a bugger in summer though. I even installed a cassette player in the back so I could sleep with music playing and not have the keys in the ignition. Aaah memories. :disco:
