Yep saw this one today actually - black BF XR8 with Orange stripes (I thought they were orange anyway).
ARE-90H is still around but wont be for much longer - Velocity BA XR6T. There is also a white BF XR8 with Orange Stripes that I have seen around here, doesnt seem to come out much though. Also a Brown Commodore Wagon umarked.

Just to update - the Black BF XR8's numberplate is AXT 63Y, and it has had its stripes removed.
The Blue BA XR6T ARE 90H is now out of service.

it maybe easy to spot in the day time, but when it comes night time, watch out, they will be on you like flies to cow pat.
yeah that ariel is a big eye sore, you can spot it a mile away. the blue XR clocked up 60,000kms time to change. sneaky little buggers

sneeky ИИИИs.
Me and an unmarked cop went throttle squirt for squirt ( like a race, but just quick little bursts in 1st or 2nd gear) in a white VX me thinks. I wasnt aware it was a cop till he put on his lights. no fine though. Just a sheepish look

AXT 63Y - the black BF XR8 nearly got me tonight.
Went round the corner, had my foggies on (deal with it), he was in front and he pulled over, obviously waiting for me to drive past. I pulled in about 50m behind him, and just sat there waiting pretending i was on the phone. It worked - he got sick of waiting and drove off again lol.

ha, ironic this thread is up now.
it had to happen - the unmarked XR8 got me tonight. 10kms over limit, foglights on and I was not slowing down for anybody lol. Very, very lucky though - told me to slow it down, turn the lights off, had a good look at the car and let me go. Followed me for a bit then turned off Hammond Avenue. The bugger of a thing is impossible to spot at night!

Yesum.. sure is.
You might of seen a write up in the paper about 2 cars that got impounded for street racing. I knew one and kinda the other.. They did it in the main street (out the front of commonwealth lights.. tools) And the black xr8 just sat down the road with his camera aiming at the lights.. Went green, both took off and he just followed. Dropped a cop off to get my mate (who parked) and then kept going to get the other car. Both got done by the one car.. Starting to get a worse reputation the ARE90H (looks better too : ) Spose thats what you get for breaking the law in one of the most obviouse spots..

At least you could see ARE90H coming, this thing blends in too damn well! Sounds good though, they flew past me one day lights going and it was great for a stocker.
