Thanks for the input guys have been visiting a few places today to have a look at their work and who to trust with my 3rd child, some seem to understand that whatever it costs just do it, others seem to be more into whatever is lets say cost effective. Not looking for cost effective on my FPV.

So far we are looking at new bonnet, l/h guard,l/h door, roof is a bit iffy, heaps of PDR and a full spray the insurance company dont care who I use but want 2 quotes. Not in a hurry to choose a repairer would rather get the best job, insurance assesor will be checking the car next wed. Insured for 46k so it will be repaired which is a good thing for build no 80 of 91.

The car looked schmic before didn't need any paint can think of a better ways to get that front spoiler touched up.....lol....in better spirits today than last night

Cheers
Steve

Who did you end up getting to do the work on your FPV fpv84d? I'm about to have some work done on my GT, got a quote from Kloster Body Works as they do FPV's, bmw ect, but not sure what they are like, Anyone had any experience with them?

klosters i wouldnt go there, a mate had a respray there and got it back with overspray all over it from other cars ( even interior) being sprayed and got it done again and still had trouble with it in the end he smashed it and got another car. i go to dangar body works at mayfield (opposite pool) and never have had a problem, oh and i'm very fussy with who i go to.

I know that this thread is getting old, but I had just had a whole lot of work done to my car (Thanks for the bar GT0336) down in the southern part of Newy (Toronto). I have to say that the guys at Lake City Automotive did an absolute cracker of a job!! Phenominal workmanship, great aftersales service, helpful but they arent the cheapest around.

Thought that it may be helpful for anyone down my way.

I wouldn't bag out Klosters. I had a Full rebuild done at klosters at raymond terrace. Scott Murray is the manager and a very close family friend. I wouldn't go any where else.

Cheers
