Check this web site out if you want:
http://www.force-flow.com

Quote:
The Force Flow 4.0 Powered Intake System is a universal bolt on device that will adapt to any vehicle. Built into a 4 inch diameter aluminium casing, it uses a super high powered motor that drives an impellor to ram air into your intake. It is sold as a complete kit with easy to follow instructions, it can easily be installed by any ‘Do It Yourself” mechanic.
If you had no idea about cars, the way they explain the system you'd believe what they say.

Interesting looking through the whole site though. Especially the dyno results.

Cheers

Its possible isn't it though as it's only a little increase in HP.

There is a thread on Ford Forums somewhere that has a link to a video that shows some fellas hooking up a leaf blower to some stock standard vehicles and it increased the horse power by a very significant amount.

It's possible, but why would you do it though???? it only on at WOT
Their graph show a 7rwhp increase, which when you think that the intake is bigger, it's not that much of a jump at peak horsepower.
Also i seen dyno runs where the same car has varied by that much between runs.

The leaf blower video is on a small 4 cyl and the increase was "minimal". The main increase was when they shot Nitros through the leaf blower into the intake.

These things DO NOT WORK.

Might replace the Garret in the Phoon with one of these. Yeah - then I'll replace the ZF with the 4 speed auto that comes with the Omega.

A bit like the Hurricane device that you could install in your intake to create "turbulent" air flow which is "denser" and thus better.

I dont think so.

Force Flow Voltage Stabilizer
The Force Flow Power Voltage Stabilizer regulates the voltage of the car's electrical system, providing constant voltage at all times. Normally the electrical system's voltage will fluctuate under acceleration resulting in power loss and rough power delivery. The Power Voltage Stabilizer eliminates this voltage fluctuation, providing a constant voltage, thereby smoothing power delivery and optimizing power. Low rpm performance is improved noticeably, with improved response, acceleration, and smoothness. Fuel economy is also improved, especially for city driving conditions.

About Force Flow Voltage Stabilizer:

Improve all electrical component performance
Better Fuel Economy
Increase efficiency of electrical equipment
Can be install in any cars, trucks, and SUV
Improve Audio Sound Quality
Improve Headlights Performance
Improve Spark Plugs / Ignition Performance
Optimize Your Battery Life

gee does your voltage need stabilizing just think how great your headlights will work with this baby

These are for sale on ebay at the moment for about $350. I came across the add when looking for turbos. I think they claim it adds something like 2psi. Who's going to be the first to jam a bank of 5 under the bonnet for 10psi. ;)

Think I'll pass...
