Default Youtube links?

Just a few days ago i was taking a look at videos on you tube and sending the links to my friends via msn....

Now i just tried it and no matter what link i press or what video im seeing the web page in the address bar is just the you tube home page???

which means i couldnt cut and paste all the junk that usually follows to direct the person to exactly where i wanted to go...

Has this just happened on you tube?? of hav i some how set an option on my browser to not show full you tube info in the address bar??
