I'd loose the centre vent. Keep the side ones, fit decent wheels.

Nice ride!!

Where's dan??

Thanks for the heads up Gunns.

The bonnet it a bit ugly. I would remove the scoop and paint the car. I hate that colour.

The same car has been on ebay before. It might be a bit of a gamble to buy with the fire damage I reckon.

I wonder if it really is a Tremec and not a T5.

small engine bay fire or wire melt happended, i think the simple fix it he claims is optomistic, if it can be started buy it, if not I smell something fishy and you are buying a 3grand body shell with turbo plates.

EDIT: I have a very strange feeling this has been offered on sale before, and why no pics to proove the turbo plates, the more I look, the more dodgy it seems.

EDIT2: Dash is 2 tone, EA was single colour, and there is a standard steering wheel in the foreground of one of the pics.

What I am confused about is that It is "meant" to be a fairmont ghia but 1.no central locking, 2.It has a standard ignition key, no colour coded door handles, 3. S pack rims.

It is sounding like a dodgy deal....

And My EA has 2 tone dash...

Well maybe series 1 got the 1 colour and series 2 got a 2 tone, but in any event things dont add up

My EA Ghia series 1 had black door handles from factory.

EDIT: I think it may be a series 1 with no third stop light or rear glass that has allowence for 1 either.

Also the other pics are in the nice sunlight and the engine is a night or very low light shot ............. hmmmmmmmmm

Has an s-pac dash, or did all AIT get a new dash?

Missing stereo as well.

Get rid of the Middle vent and get some good looking wheels and it would be a sweet *** ride.

Seen it, just needs (visually) respray in black, APV kit and some FR18's or ANZ Voltec's and it'd be a mint car! Wonder if the price will jump much at all?

But a BA turbo has about 50x less chance of stuffing up!
