Just today ive noticed after my car idling for about 30 seconds in either gear or neutral it will start missing in about 5 second intervals. Will also occasionaly do it when accelerating. Not a serious miss(my mother wouldn't notice it for instance) but if you were familiar with the car it's enough to definetely notice. Obviously it could be a range of things like plugs or leads, but what is interesting is I have been running the car for 6 months straight(about 25tanks) on 98RON.
Last tank i decided i was wasting my time on a family car and just put 91 in. Is it possible that the ECU is just still adjusting to the new fuel because i was under the impression older cars like this dont have knock sensors? EDIT: car is a EB2 4ltr stock |

That was my surgestion. Or there might be **** on your sparkies or you need new leads...
Fuel would most probaly not be it... I am currently working on a VL (at work) that was doing the same thing so I gave it new sparkies, new injector leads gave it a service and a trans serive(it needed that too) It goes good now for a holden... |

Doesn't need a service mate, had a full service 3500km ago with new oil, leads & plugs. Might just rip the plugs out on the weekend see if everything is looking OK. Thanks for your help
