Default Cost of AUII Falcons/Fairmonts

Hey all. Just wondering what I would be looking at paying for the following AU models...

AUII Falcon Forte
AUII Falcon Futura
AUII Falcon XR6
AUII Falcon XR8
AUII Fairmont
AUII Ute XLS
AUII Ute XR6
AUII Ute XR8

Auto or manual transmission doesn't matter. Preferably stock. KM's preferably under 150K.

Thanks in advance.

AUII Falcon XR6 - around $23-26k depending on options etc
AUII Falcon XR8 - around $28-30k again depending on options
AUII Fairmont - around $22-25 (there is one where i work for $16k)
AUII Ute XLS - around $20k
AUII Ute XR6 - unsure
AUII Ute XR8 - unsure

Those are rough prices from where i am (Sthn NSW). If you want actual prices i can get them.

Yeah. I was looking at Series 1 Montys and up here they start at $15,000 with around 100-130,000 kms on it.

I just grabbed a series 3 xr8 sedan for 29,500 with only 36 thousand on it, leather trim momo wheel and shifter, premium sound etc. most seem to be going for 26 to 30 for series 3 depending on options and kays etc.

What I noticed is, as they age the utes hold their value much better. But of late, I have been looking at the prices of AUII/III XR8 sedans vs utes, and there seems to be quite a few more utes getting around for cheaper prices. What gives?

With Series 1 (which I'm gonna try and avoid if possible and get a Series 2), the Forte Sedans go from about $11,000 to around $14,000, whereas an XL ute starts from about $14,000.

Series 2... the gap seems to shrink a bit. I haven't looked at a Series 3 based on what I wanna borrow compared to market value.

Going off topic here, up here in QLD, you can grab a Mk1 BA XT sedan for under 20 grand now. They usually have about 70,000 kays on it.

On topic, I'll have to have a good look at Series 2 Fortes compared to utes.

My 2001 AU2 SR cost just under $14000 on the road. Pretty good value as it came with dual fuel and many of the futura options.

If I had more $$ I'd get a ute. So useful, so fun, carries all your tools during the week and beer on the weekends. They look great and you don't have to worry about backseat drivers.

Hmm. Wow. So, say if I was to get one with around 100,000km on it, drop on average about $3000 and that would give me a fairer indication.

BTW, what do you guys think of the C2R bodykit for AU Falcons? I've seen one for sale in the Trading Post for $19,000. Is that a fair price?

I'm hoping that body kit comes with car

The C2R kits aren't bad at all, a number of dealers will stick them on a car and then over price the vehicle though.
