Cool PS2 + old work projector = WOOT!!!

Was walking out of work today when I spied a pile opf old computers etc, asked the IT guys what they were for and they were "getting rid of them"!!!

So I spied the big black box, realised it was a projector and helped them get rid of it!! 30 seconds after walking in my door at home, I had the PS2 hooked into it and GT4 fired up!!! It is absolutely INSANE!!!!!!!! Not the highest quality but hey, like I care, it's free!! Still pretty damn awesome for what it is!!! :

Some of the pics below are a little hard to see, can't take it with a flash, can't take it well in the dark (there's no perspective to compare it to my 51cm TV) and it's hard to take it in low light too, but hopefully you all get the idea!!! I am looking forward to a weekend of fun!!!! Bought a 10m RCA cable, so theoretically I can move it 3 times as far as it currently it. Might need a sledgehammer to knock down the wall, although I doubt my landlord would like that!!!

Hehe, I first played GT4 on a projector, I bought it the day of a LAN, and someone had a projector they'd 'borrowed' from their dad.

Slightly off topic - I have to say that despite the number of cars, new tracks and added features, GT4 is inferior in almost every way to GT3.
Some of the guys on the leading american Gran Turismo forum agree with me.
It's still fun but when wanting to be serious, I go back to 3.

Yeah, projectors rule.

When the Xbox first came out I pre-ordered one and had it delivered to my work. Come 5:30 PM we had commandeered the boardroom and were playing Rallisport Challenge, Project Gotham Racing and Halo on the big screen.

Had a few people pop in for a squiz and a play. hehehehe
