Default Center console creak

Does anyone else have a center console that creaks? Mine seems to be loose around the gear stick and cup holders and creaks particularly when the car flexes - like when driving over a gutter or speed bump. Is there any way of tightening the console around the gear stick? Cheers

Mine does it too, but mainly on coarse chip seal. Only started since the weather got colder. It seems to be the trim surrounding the gear lever - I plan to remove it, and put some silicone lubricant on the clips or whatever.

Mine too. I have been reluctant to try to fix, removing and refitting could make it worse. The insert on the top of the shifter on mine rattles and vibrates terribly.

At nearly 50,000kms mine has rattles, squeaks and groans everywhere. Not so loud that turning up the stereo doesn't drown them out.
