Just had a quick look at the coverage of the V8 Supercar racing in Austin, Texas...
Not exactly...erm..."crowded with spectators", is it...you would have had no trouble just turning up at the gates and buying a whole bunch of seats in the front row opposite the finish line... Guess the Yanks like thier V8 sedan racing to only go endlessely around a simple oval track for hours on end...they don't realise that real racing cars are capable of turning left and right... |

There were 68000 who turned up for the weekend to watch.
It's probably not too bad as they picked a very bad weekend to put it on. |
