Smile Ford Station Wagons

I am looking to buy another Ford Wagon. Had a 2001 years ago great car but the rust got it. I want another wagon... what was the latest wagon? Was there an 'XR' Wagon? Was there a V8 wagon?
What I would really like is a BF XR8 wagon..... I know that is not possible.... what is the closest I can get? and is anyone selling one? Thanks

Last of the V8 wagons were AU's and I've seen more hens with dentures than these V8 wagons. Fairmont wagons also stopped at AU model so a V8 Fairmont AU wagon would be the most rare.
Futura spec stopped at BF and obviously not a V8.

Yep you want a V8 au wagon. They are still around, Fairmonts are nice however a lower scpe would suit an xr8 mock up better. Will age much better than au onwards anyway in regards to interior.

A bloke up this way built himself a BA/BF XR8 wagon out of the required bits.
Sorry but I can't provide any details or pics.

yep. thanks... I really regret selling my AU Wagon... I should have just had the rust repaired..... not the only car or regret :(. ..he put together a BA/BF XR8 Wagon? would there be issues with rego? Dr Smith so... seems I am after either a Futura BF Wagon or an AU V8 Fairmont wagon..... or a chicken with false teeth to keep it real.... so no such thing as a factory 'XR' 6 or 8 wagons I take it :(

If they found a reason to FPV-ise the Territory, surely there was a case for this.

Its a novel idea but back in 2006 when they made the BF they wouldn't have put too much thought into the market for them 15 years on.

if you are really keen you could get a BF wagon and have a mechanic Transfer all the bits from a BF XR8

but what's the budget?

for a ballpark theres only 1 BF XR8 on carsales for $16K
