NOT Ford related, but since many of us have sinned...
The registration process to claim a settlement payment has now opened. The deadline to register your claim is 18 February 2022. Group Members who do not register by that date will not be entitled to receive any settlement payment. If you have multiple affected vehicles, you must submit a separate claim for each vehicle. This settlement covers Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, Honda, BMW, and Subaru The proposed Settlement was $52M, and as always, the Lawyers and their backers will take a big slice. So might be a few hundred dollars each. You need to have owned the vehicle as at February 2018. Starting point is to plug your VIN in here: https://www.airbagclassaction.com/ClaimEligibility

Wish I'd done this as had 2 cars impacted...both quickly rectified by manufacturer so never registered, but 2 mates also impacted by this did register and couple of months ago each received bit over $800 for each car.
Wish I'd taken the time to fill in a couple of online forms - I'm an idiot. $1600 is not life-changing but I also wouldn't walk by without picking it up if it was on the ground. |
