I have a KC Laser - terrific, reliable little car - however tonight there's beena problem.
I was backing out my drive and thought I'd run over the kids skateboard. There was an awful, loud scraping sound. I drove back in and looked underneath and it looks like a big metal plate has half fallen off the undercarriage. It's at the front and about as far back as the front wheels. It's about 50cm wide from what I can see and can't really say more as it's dark and I can't find my darn torch. Any help and advice much appreciated |

sounds a bit like the splash plate that stops crap coming up onto the motor, cant remember if it was made of metal or plastic, if metal it will need to be unbolted, it can be removed without any bad effects.

On a KC laser there isnt much in terms of a metal plate that can just fall off
unless you have an steel bush/brush gaurd there is plastic undertrays down there that can fall off but you did say it was metal....
