Not a bad story on the development on the 2015 Mustang, interspersed with flashbacks to various times in Mustang history including footage of the promotional Boss 429 Mustangs (one being the only auto Boss 9 built) sent to Vietnam and interviews with the original designers.

Watched this last night - a great film.
My passion for mustang extends to hiring one in the US to drive around in. But watching this doco - its hard not to feel emotion when you see some of the dudes in it and their passion. |

Just started watching it last night. Netflix somehow knew I would like it. So far a fascinating look into the development of an icon. Must see for a Ford fan.

Ok, I'm obviously not keeping up to speed with this stuff, but my TV isn't a smart TV so does that mean if I get Netflix I will have to sit in front of my pc to watch it?

So I watch it on the laptop instead. (For $11 a month and no contract, I don't care ) Edit...You can pick it up with your Playstation or Xbox as well.

Also, great doco! Whether you're a Ford can, car but, like a good story...the retrospective stuff was cool. Felt sorry for Chief Engineer Dave Pericak...so much stress.

He's running Ford SVT now (a portfolio including RS, GT, Raptor, and all of the really cool stuff coming in the next 5 to 7 years). I think we'll be surprised what they come up with ..... |

He really is. Seems like a job with immense pressure. If you guys want something else cool to watch check out 'rebirth of an icon Ford Focus Rs' on YouTube. It's an 8 part series ford made when they were developing the new Rs. Pericark features heavily in this too.... Raj seems like a ball breaker too - but it's great to see there are guys like this out there that are so passionate about ford performance cars and making them as good as they can be.

I've finally finished watching it, been on and off all arvo. Bloody great to watch, but as times a bit bitter too. As pointed out on another forum, everything they're celebrating with mustang is what we lose with falcon.

If your tv doesn't support Netflix, just output the laptop to the tv via HDMI.
Watched the doco just in time, really enjoyed it. Cancelled my Netflix sub now they have started geo blocking. |

Great doco, and a nice history lesson. Shows how much mustang means to Ford.

Thanks, Kieron, I just briefly checked it out. Looks great, looking forward to watching it. I wish something like this can be done for the Falcon.

Reminded me of the doco around the Ford GT a few years back.
