Default You got fluffy dice?

On the rear vision mirror I've got a leather band with a few beads and a round hologram of a lady's eye on both sides. Been on the car since I got it 7 years ago.

I'm not really the superstitious type but I'm too scared to take it off now in case I get bad luck!

I really hope no-one still has hairy dice! (or a little mirror ball!)...

Anzac badge pinned into the headlining between the visors - had it in every car I have owned. Poppies always seem to feature somewhere in my cars too, had one hanging out of my sunglass holder in all my AU's and BA's.

Not to be a killjoy but isn't illegal to have anything hanging from the rear vision mirror of your car?

I had small chrome dice and a necklace with a Jesus dude surfing on it. Got rid of both after I got told off by the police about them.

I hate when you're following a hippy car with all them crystals hanging from the mirror, and you cop the intense reflected and aimed sunlight straight in your eyes. THAT should be illegal, but fluffy dice are kinda cool.

I scored some Ford fluffy dice at the recent AFF drag day. They were left in our shed by the two travelling minstrels that came and asked silly questions for a couple of hours on the Saturday night. Was going to give them back until one of the two informed us that his friend was contemplating stealing a bottle of Jack's on the shelf in our shed. So instead of handing out some rough justice, I just kept them. Karma. Look good hanging from the mirror on the effy

my XW has had fluffy dice since i owned it and i'll never take them off. Most police don't even care about them, i have only been asked once at a booze bus to remove them but i put them back on when i got home.

I realise they impair a little of my vision but i just watch where i'm going so they have never been an issue.

In NSW it's a $270 (or around about that) fine for having something hanging from the rear vision mirror

I read on here few months back where a person was pulled over, the officer looked over the car only found 2 defects then he spotted the thin-gee hanging of the rear vision mirror and that made 3, driver scored a yellow sticker on the window, car needs to go for RW check..
Its called obstruction of vision.

I would love to know who they are, we dont want or need these type of people at our meetings, most probably the same 2 that knocked off my new HPR stubby holder.

I got fluffy dice (Jack Daniels) given to me as a secret santa gift.

I'm too embarrased to put them up though...sometimes I feel like sticking them up for a laugh, but I could just see my missus with her head in her hands with embarrassment at every set of traffic lights.

I have an original 1887 self-portrait of Vincent van Gogh. Never been defected.

...you can always put your fluffy dice on your rear parcel shelf -- that way they're on display and out of the way

Edit: Holy crap, we have this but no thumbs-up smiley? Disappointing.

I've had a green tree frog fridge magnet on the dash of the RS2000 for the last 18 years - gift from my tree hugger oldest sister who has passed on the the next life.
Gold Legacy badge lodged in the dashmat since ANZAC Day 1990.
Also a magnetic stuffed wombat that turned up some time in the late 90's that I have no idea where it came from.

Nodding dog on the dash of the AU Fairmont Ghia - been in every daily ride for the last seven or eight years; started as a joke in a Company Car and just stuck.
Straw "Bowling" hat on the rear parcel shelf - just to complete the Grandpa look.....

Cheers

James

Nope. Nothing on any mirror on any car that I've owned. (Although exceptions would be made for a classic type car in a show )

The less distractions I have in front of me the better.

I have fluffy dice for both my XB and my Galant. But they only go on when the car is parked at car shows/displays. So annoying trying to drive with them on, so they get thrown on the backseat until I get to where I'm going.
