Yesterday I took delivery of my new car. I'll get more pics up soon, but for now, heres 1
It's a dream to drive. I got an early 07 build, so it misses a few of the nice things the new model has, but I'm not complaining. If you let the small things worry you, then it kinda takes the shine off owning a new car. I am very pleased with my purchase. I really like the Performance Blue colour. No leather. Was sorry to see the SR focus go. She's been a great car to me. I had considered getting rid of the AU, but In the end I kept the AU and got rid of the SR. Cheers

Youre right about that colour, Ive never really seen one in Blue before but it does look great. Does this mean Julie gets the AU?!:hihi:

I looked at the black, which she really wanted, but I said to her that if we get black, then she will get a big bag of Meguires products for her birthday. :hihi:

I found a lot of info from here and the XR5 forums a big help. I also found 1 door missing paint, so I had that fixed as well. I checked the rear windows and found a check list which i presented to the salesman. :

There aren't many of them in Canberra so that's a plus :
Congrats on the purchase. Boost is good eh? ;) |

Gotta say, don't mind the boost. I'm just trying to find the turn it up switch : J/k. Running it in still, so trying to keep the excitment out of my right foot.
I haven't see a blue one in Canberra yet. They are probabbly around.

Nice one Bucky. Gonna put it on LPG? Will Maurie's wheels fit this one?

No stripes for this one. I like it how it is. Although, having been looking at a european site, I found some very interesting looking kits, wheels and stripes a few people have done. Will stay as is for a while until my bank account balance is out of the gutter.

Nice pickup there Bucky....I mean, Focus, it clearly isn't a F250.....
I'm sure there is advice out there to help with turning up the boost. You know what they say about boost? You can never have enough, and I think that applies very directly here.

Bucknaked, Dreamscience Unit will set you back about 1000. just plugs into obd2 port and uploads a tune, increase's torque from 320 -400+ and increases power jsut a tad. Full Turbo back exhaust increase by 11kw . Bigger Intercooler, and a CAI and you should be screaming away.
If you are reffering to the Wolf Stripes go for it they look sexual... or there is this look which is cool as well.

Tell you what that second one with the stripes doesnt look too bad. Would be interesting to see how it looked in the flesh with them.

I think I definatley like the top one. I think the wheels make the car with the stripes look spot on.

nice,
www.wolf-concept.uk.com i think is the place. not sure on the exact site. but basically, you have to search wolf concept in google. that stuff on that focus is pretty expensive though.
