Ok, finished my looms swap, all seems to be going well, there is just one thing left to sort out...
This. Red: Connector on new loom. It's in the shape of the female end of the Orange/Yellow plugs, it's on the new loom, has one Black and one RedWhite wire. Green: Connector to low washer bottle level sensor. It's wires are both Black, it is the same shape as the Orange/Yellow Plugs, but the actual plug is white, the others are black. Orange/Yellow: These 2 connectors are on the new loom, and are identicle. Thier wires are BlueYellow/White on the Yellow one, and GreenYellow/White on the Orange one. Blue: NFI what this is for. It has 3 sockets on the end of the plug, wire colours are Tan, RedWhite and GreyBlack. Black: IT's a vacuum hose, but it leads nowhere, It's been broken off...Any ideas where it is meant to go? Anyone know what those plugs do, and what they are for? Also, Relays. are all engine bay relays rated the same? Ghia looms have 5, S looms only had 4, and i'm wondering what goes in the fifth spot. Thanks... |

Matt, Orange and yellow look like connectors for the washer bottle pumps. One for front glass, and one for wagon rear glass.
Red looks like an ABS sensor connector. Blue- I dunno.

Blue = for cruise control
Black = the vaccuum line is also for cruise control Yellow = rear washer (wagon) Orange = low water bottle sensor Green = goes to tank for venting (this goes top charcoal canister) Red = no idea yet - What else is on that section of loom wires ? all standard EA Ghia to me
