Default TD 1976 Cortina

I am looking for a fuel sender to suit a 1976 TD Cortina Wagon 4.1, are all the senders the same, 4 and 6 cylinder, sedans and wagons? Are they interchangeable, TC, TD and TE, were the UK MK3 Cortina's the same, other than the Engines. It is becoming very difficult to find a sender that has been confirmed as "working" for a reasonable price.

The TE sender unit is different but the TC and TD use the same unit for both I4 and I6 engines. Ford part number is 74BB 9275 AC which has a single inlet. There was also a dual pipe version fitted to some models (I suspect the 2V ones) but these are even rarer.

Cheers
Russ
