Cosworth version? If yes they’re getting thin on the ground and as per everything else from the UK can be pricey to work on.
I’ve toyed with the idea of a twin turbo V6 in a falcon or something a few times, would certainly be unique here in OZ if you decide to go ahead |

and yes, I've got a guy on my FB feed that breaks Cosworths in England and the prices he is asking for parts is just silly. At least the V6 Cologne is a more common engine than the YB

What is the difference between the Cologne and Essex V6, if any.

Some parts are no longer available new, some of the plastics start to get brittle. There are some places that make aftermarket bits, that are interchangeable between the XRi and the XRTi in the USA.

Cologne V6s are German designed and 2.8 litre Bosch fuel injected, whereas the Essex is English and a 3-litre weber twin throat carby engine used in Zephyrs and Capri's. They are completely different engines and NO parts are interchangeable!

Standard equipment on South African Sierra's And Sapphires.
Available as XR6 in Sierra and 3.0 GLX in Sapphire even had Efi in the last model Ghia's and Limited run of IRS and RSI models. Was available to 1993 but lived on into the Ford Courier where it also had the 3.4 version which had some issues later on when the tooling was infact getting rather tired.
