Default Diff leaking oil

Hi Just wondering if anybody has had experience with front diff seal leaks. 1999 au 272,000 klms

That would be the Pinion seal leaking. Slide under your car and try to wiggle the tail shaft up and down. Its ok to have a tiny tiny bit of movement but a lot of movement means your pinion bearing has excessive play in it which will stuff your crown wheel and pinion.

Get it checked as diff rebuilds are not cheap.

A mate has had this problem with his ute and it was a reasonably cheap and easy fix - but it was caught early.
